UBS Payroll
a) PCB Calculation
- Alimony & Spouse Deduction control at RM3000 per year.
- Checking of marital status and spouse working status before user can claim the Alimony (as requested by LHDN).
- Half point child relief.
- PCB 2004 and PCB 2009 K capping control.
b) TP1 Zakat & TP1 Levy
- PCB Calculation when there is Zakat or Levy declared through TP1 Form.
- [2nd Half Payroll / Add/Update / Normal Pay / Relief & Rebate]. New fields - Zakat (TP1 form) and Levy (TP1 form) added.
- TP1 Form is enhanced to be able to populate TP1 amount for Zakat & Levy.

3. Issues that were fixed
UBS Payroll
- PCB rounding issue when there is Zakat and additional remuneration.
- View calculation error.
- Child relief point is incorrect when more than 10 in bonus and commision.
- E Form Layout correction (Page 1, page 3 & page 4).
- PCB calculation issue for user Who upgrades from previous UBS Payroll and Want to claim Tax Exemption on Allowance for Previous Months.
e.g. Petrol allowance for Employee - Ahmad
Jan & Feb 2009 - entered using the previous PCB
March 2009 - to be entered using the new PCB
So, When apply new PCB, user will have to
1. Backup the data.
2. Go to [Monthly & Yearly / Tax Exempted Allowance] to enter the suppose exempted figure for months Jan & Feb then click [Save].
When calculate March PCB, the figure will be adjusted
4. Known Issues
UBS Payroll
Users are advised to upgrade the system following a proper way.
UBS Payroll previous version installers can be obtained from this cd.
For user who is upgrading from 8.X, please follow the steps as below:
1. Upgrade to 9.0 (by Existing data).
2. In version 9.0, run the following options in sequence.
i. Go to Housekeeping - File Re-organisation - A. Generate Pay_12m
ii. Go to Housekeeping - File Re-organisation - Upgrade
iii. Go to Housekeeping - File Re-organisation - Index
3. Then, upgrade to Version 9.2 or Version 9.2 SR X (by existing data or restore backup file).
4. In Version 9.2 or Version 9.2 SR X, system will auto detect that the data is from previous version and will prompt upgrade data files. Click OK to run upgrade. If the system does not prompt upgrade data files, go to Housekeeping - File Re-organisation - Upgrade and run it. Then, go to Housekeeping - File Re-organisation - Index and run it.
5. User may now upgrade to Version 9.3.2. (by existing data or restore backup file).
For user who is upgrading from 9.0 or 9.0b, repeat Step 3 to 5.
For user who is upgrading from 9.2 and above, user may upgrade directly to Version 9.3.2.
User SHOULD NOT:
- Upgrade from Version 8.X directly to 9.3.2.
- Upgrade from Version 9.0 or 9.0b directly to 9.3.2.
- Upgrade using export and import data.
- Upgrade without running Upgrade and Index.
- Upgrade from 8.X to 9.X without running Generate Pay_12m
- Copy and paste or Overwrites all/any database files to new version.
